For the needs of a large customer, we designed a line for packaging tomatoes in cartons. As intended, this line provides a wide range of packaging materials that can be used. The change is flexible and does not create additional costs for the customer. The maximum capacity of the line is approx. 6000 pcs / h of small boxes with a width of max 200mm and weight below 500g, and 1500 cartons / h with a weight of max. 25kg and max. dimensions 600x400mm. Therefore, the line with maximum occupancy is able to handle up to 40 tons / tomatoes per hour.
In further stages, the system is planned to be expanded with a tunnel washer for disinfecting boxes and palletizing lines. According to the ordering party's assumption, each of the stages can be implemented separately and will not require any changes to the original installation.
